Blog : Funny thing (?), on the way home from Airport...

The plan was 4 me 2 take my mom 2 the airport, driving her car. Day B4 the trip, she takes her car 2 a local "auto repair shop", he "fixed" her muffler, back driver side light bulb, & checked oil fluids & "stuff" under hood...(said he even "oiled" all doors...Thank U!!!). I had asked a friend 2 go with me as, I wanted 2 go Nside airport with mom & get her checked N. (U know U can't park outside of terminal). So, we're on our way...

Arriving @ airport, I go Nside while my friend gets N driver seat N case police comes & car has 2B moved. Made it back B4 car had 2B moved & decided 2 let friend drive us home. Driving along, talking, I noticed the car wasn't moving like it should. I notice it wasn't sounding like it should also. Asked & it was confirmed: the car wasn't going as fast as it should & foot was on the pedal, almost 2 the floor... Continued driving until, U could tell the car was going 2 stall... On the shoulder, I checked under the hood (???) hahaha, then called "triple A". Didn't take long B4, they were there.

Had 2 call another friend 2 pick us up as, there was 3 of us all 2gether, & AAA can only take 2 people N their vehicle. Car had 2B towed. Man said it was the "alternator" cos it wouldn't start or turn over...With a jump it started, but wouldn't stay start.

Now, the good news, yaaay... man tells me: I get 3 miles tow free, every mile after that is $5.00 a mile!!! *BLANK STARE* All I know is: I don't know how many miles I am from home & didn't have but $22.00 on me. I had filled the tank up prior 2 traveling & washed the car, the day B4. I Ntended 2 go food shopping, stores, bank later during the week... Now, it's being said: no $$$$, no tow!!! hahahaha. He figured out through GPS how many miles it would B, came out 2B: 8.6miles...then he said it will cost me, $25.00. I'm like: Let's "get er" done!!! :-)

The thing is this: I originally had $2... some1 came & blessed me with $25, B4 we left 4 airport. I replaced the "2" with the "5" & left the 5 home. Hence, $22.00... Now, I was perturbed about the whole situation... "Y"? Bcos, car was running fine except 4 loud muffler & back tail lite. Now all of a sudden "alternator" is broken...I'm not understanding that!!! I washed & gassed up, & now I can't drive... the lil $$$$ I had N my pocket is GONE & I didn't get 2 Njoy it...LOL!!!!SMH

I can look back @ the situation "NOW", & smile. It's quite funny when I look @ it N a positive way. "C" we prayed 4 travel mercy B4 we left. My mom drove there, we arrived safe & with plenty of time 4 her 2 relax B4 boarding. Nspite of the car breaking down afterwards, no1 was hurt while driving or parked on the shoulder. AAA didn't take 4ever 2 come, we were able 2 get another ride 2 come 4 us, & the $$$$ I was blessed with, was enough 2 pay 4 the tow. My mom have a clean, full tank of gas, parked car when she get back. hahaha...The devil is a liar!!! What he meant 4 bad, my GOD has turned it around 4 good. I'm still blessed & highly favored!!! The LORD is good & HIS mercy endure 4ever. ~ B Blessed!
