REACHING OUT!!!!!!!!!!! To all my American Soldiers and Sailors of past and present, you could be qualified for benefits. I work in the insurance industry and there is not a day that goes by that I don't encounter a Veteran who hasn't or is still suffering from somekind of PTSD, divorce, alcoholism, depression, addiction, and is being forced to retire, that had no idea that they were qualified to receive Veterans pension either service connected or non-service connected. Instead, what I'm finding out is, the biggest mistake Veterans are making is not going after their benefits and thinking that war or the fact that they served didn't effect them. When infact, anything that puts you under extreme stress psychological and or physical stress can have long term ramifications. I know....because I too am a Veteran. I underwent alot of what I talked about and am still somewhat going through....but "DOC" say's go to the Aid Station, get "HELP" and be kind to yourself. It will take time...Don't have too much pride to ask for "HELP!!!" You earned our country's respect.
