How is everyone doing on the whole meet-up during the holidays? I kid you not, I have set up..1..2...3....6 dates over the course of the holidays, and repeatedly set one up with the same fireman who lives about 20 minutes away. Not ONE date panned out. The fireman is my fault - i canceled too many times because I was in the middle of moving to the ends of the earth and had no interest in dropping everything to meet some new face. So he did the same to me this weekend and stood me up, lol. My fau more...How is everyone doing on the whole meet-up during the holidays? So he did the same to me this weekend and stood me up, lol. My fault. But the others! I've heard "work called me in" (air force paralegal...uh huh...) "I never leave me c ell p hone on over the weekends.." (so if your kids are in a car accident, I'm sorry, how do they contact you?) "You're too far away" (one hour as opposed to the usual 4-5 hours???) and here's the kicker; "How are you going to make it worth my while if you're so stingy with the goods?" (on my no-sex policy) One guy just deleted me entirely from his life for some woman he hasn't met in person (he's still in Iraq) so good luck with that type of female, haha. (she'll probably drop off the face of the earth as soon as his plane lands, or die from some rare disease that her sister has to sob about to him online...hahaha)I haven't gone out of my way to meet anyone online this year, it's old, it's ridiculous, and most of what i've met are shadow people. But, I still leave it up 'just in case.' I haven't met him in person yet, I haven't met him online yet, I dont know if there even IS a "him" (I don't believe that fluff that there's someone for everyone) but I leave all doors open and go about my business. So here I sit, with 4 nights off in a row (I lost one of my jobs) my first days off in months, and I painted, watched Underdog with the kid (exciting) Law and Order re-runs . How has everyone else been doing during this exciting rollercoaster of festivities? LOL I'm so glad it's almost over! less...

see why is it when after months of not checking in THIS is the first thing I see when I do. same old same old! ugh! yes, holidays suck! Just makes you wish for something you don't have and think about times in the past when you think that maybe you did have it yet I can almost swear that back then I doubt I thought I had "it" then either. ugh! what a vicious cycle.
My holidays have been rounded out with a lovely freaking migraine. How's it goin'? - SH***Y!!! I absolutely detest the holidays - Used to love this time of year, but as time has gone on, the stress that c omes from the holidays, just takes all the fun out of it....
