Ok..so I've tried several different ways to find out info on how to connect with a military person who is actively serving in the war in Iraq..I had a penpal/friend during the VietNam war and loved it...I want to connect with ya'll over there...should be easy, right?
This is the latest site I was referred to...and it's a online dating service????? Does ANYONE out there know how I can get in touch with our soliders? Find out how to do this???

sadeyes82,

I tried to help out the soilders at Walter Reed, but never got a response from the Website. That's why I went to Bragg, but if you need help, I'd be glad to.

Let me know.

I contacted Fort Bragg and went through their Public Relations department. If you go to Fort Bragg and into frequently asked questions, you will find a link to their "adopt a soldier" program.

Thanks for that suggestion as well. I did a search via "adopt a soldier" and found some sites as well. Thanks for the help. Take care.

you can log on to any military we bsite and go to units and find out which ones are deployed and do it that way - they give you the add resses or call your local recruiter and he can give you some add resses. and you can even call your congress man/woman.
